You may prefer to use your fingers or Q-tips when applying your make-up. However, keep in mind, achieving the best result is contingent upon your tools. Therefore, if you plan on building a make-up brush arsenal, my recommendation is to start with the following four brushes:
1) Face Powder Brush- Use for powder foundation, blush, bronzers
2) Angle Brush- Great for filling in brows and lining the top lid with liquid/gel
liners
3) Lid Brush- Use for applying eye shadows
4) Soft Crease Brush- Great for defining a perfect crease
Your make-up brush investment does not have to break the bank. As a matter of fact, I really like using Sonia Kashuk brushes, which are inexpensive and can be purchased at Target.
